मारुतस्य विधिं सर्वं मनोयुक्तं समभ्यसेत् ।
इतरत्र न कर्तव्या मनोवृत्तिर्मनीषिणा ॥ ३.१२७ ॥ |
mārutasya vidhiṃ sarvaṃ manoyuktaṃ samabhyaset ।
itaratra na kartavyā manovṛttirmanīṣiṇā ॥ 3.127 ॥ |
Mārutasya: in relation to the breath ("wind", Maruta)
Vidhiṁ: Method (Vidhi)
Sarvaṁ: every (Sarva)
Manas: spirit (manas)
Yuktaṁ: (with it) concentrated (Yukta)
Samabhyaset: (man) übe (sam + abhi + as)
Itaratra: elsewhere (Itaratra)
Na: not (Na)
Kartavyā: to be allowed ("to make", Kartavya)
Manas: of the Spirit
Vḥttiḥ: (one) employment ("roles", Vritti)
Manīṇiṇā: from a wise (Yogi, Manishin) || 127 ||

All the practices relating to Vayu should be performed with a concentrated mind. The wise do not allow the mind to wander away.
