सुषुम्णा शून्यपदवी ब्रह्मरन्ध्रः महापथः । श्मशानं शाम्भवी मध्यमार्गश्चेत्येकवाचकाः ॥ ३.४ ॥ |
suṣumṇā śūnyapadavī brahmarandhraḥ mahāpathaḥ । śmaśānaṃ śāmbhavī madhyamārgaścetyekavācakāḥ ॥ 3.4 ॥ |
| Suṇumṇā: Sushumna;
Śūnya-padavī: Path of Void;
Brahma-randhraḥ: opening Brahmas, fontenella;
Mahā-pathaḥ: great way;
Śmaśānaṁ: Burning place of body;
Śāmbhavī: the Shiva belonging;
Madhya-mārgaḥ: middle, central way;
Ca: and;
Iti: so, this;
Eka-vācakāḥ: express one and the same || 4 || |
Sushumnâ, Sunya Padavî, Brahma Randhra, Mahâ Patha, Shmashâna, Shambhavî, Madhya Mârga - these are all names of one and the same thing. |
