कपालशोधनं वातदोषघ्नं कृमिदोषहृत् । पुनः पुनरिदं कार्यं सूर्यभेदनं उत्तमम् ॥ २.५० ॥

kapālaśodhanaṃ vātadoṣaghnaṃ kṛmidoṣahṛt । punaḥ punaridaṃ kāryaṃ sūryabhedanaṃ uttamam ॥ 2.50 ॥

This excellent Sûrya Bhedana cleanses the skull, destroys the disorders of Vâta, and removes worms (parasites), and therefore should be performed again and again.
