अथ उष्ट्रानम्। अध्यास्य शेते पदयुग्मव्यस्तं पृष्ठे निधायापि धृतं कराभ्याम्। आकुञ्चयेत्सम्यगुदरास्यगाढ-मौष्ट्रञ्च पीठं योगिनो वदन्ति ॥३६॥ |
atha uṣṭrānam। adhyāsya śete padayugmavyastaṃ pṛṣṭhe nidhāyāpi dhṛtaṃ karābhyām। ākuñcayetsamyagudarāsyagāḍha-mauṣṭrañca pīṭhaṃ yogino vadanti ॥36॥ |

Lie on the ground face downwards, turn up the legs and place them towards the back, catch the legs with the hands, contract forcibly the mouth and the abdomen. This is called the Camel-posture.
