अथ आसनानां भेदाः। सिद्धं पद्मं तथा भद्रं मुक्तं वज्रञ्च स्वस्तिकम्। सिंहञ्च गोमुखं वीरं धनुरासनमेव च ॥३॥

atha āsanānāṃ bhedāḥ। siddhaṃ padmaṃ tathā bhadraṃ muktaṃ vajrañca svastikam। siṃhañca gomukhaṃ vīraṃ dhanurāsanameva ca ॥3॥

The thirty-two Asanas



The thirty-two Asanas that give perfection in this mortal world are following: -

 

  1. Siddham (perfect posture).

  2. Padmam (Lotus posture).

  3. Bhadram (Gentle posture).

  4. Muktam (Free posture).

  5. Vajram (Adamant posture).

  6. Swastika (Prosperous posture).

  7. Sinham (Lion posture).

  8. Gomukha (Cow-mouth posture).

  9. Vira (Heroic posture).

  10. Dhanur (Bow posture)
