| प्रथमोध्यायः,-Shadkarma, (Ch.-1, V.-25) |
अथ वहिष्कृतधौतिप्रयोगः। यामार्धं धारणां शक्तिं यावन्न साधयेन्नरः। बहिष्कृतं महद्धौतिस्तावच्चैव न जायते ॥२५॥ |
atha vahiṣkṛtadhautiprayogaḥ। yāmārdhaṃ dhāraṇāṃ śaktiṃ yāvanna sādhayennaraḥ। bahiṣkṛtaṃ mahaddhautistāvaccaiva na jāyate ॥25॥ |
AGNISARA |
As long as a person has not the power of retaining the breath for an hour and a half (or retaining wind in the stomach for that period), so long he cannot achieve this grand Dhauti or purification, known as Bahiskritadhauti. |
