Bhagavadgita,-अर्जुनविषादयोगः arjunaviṣādayogaḥ , (S.-1, Ch.-1, V.-5-6)

धृष्टकेतुश्चेकितानः काशिराजश्च वीर्यवान् ।  पुरुजित् कुन्तिभोजश्च शैब्यश्च नरपुङ्गवः ॥१-५॥

युधामन्युश्च विक्रान्त उत्तमौजाश्च वीर्यवान् ।  सौभद्रो द्रौपदेयाश्च सर्व एव महारथाः ॥१-६॥

dhṛṣṭaketuśčekitānaḣ kāśirādžāśča vīrjavān ।  purudžit kuntibhodžaśča śaibjaśča narapuṅgavaḣ ॥1-5॥

judhāmanjuśča vikrānta uttamaudžāśča vīrjavān । saubhadro draupadejāśča sarva eva mahārathāḣ ॥1-6॥



धृष्टकेतु dhrstaketu (m. nom. sg.), Dhrstaketu, King of Cedi, a Pandav ally. The name means "bold leader."; चकितानः cekitanah (m. nom. sg.), Cekitiina, a prince, ally of the Pandava. The name means "highly intelligent."; काशिराज kasiraja (m. nom. sg.), the King of the Kasis, thought to be a tribe inhabiting the vicinity of modem Benares, an ally of the pandavas.; च ca, and.; वीर्यवान् viryavan (m. nom. sg.), valorous, full of heroism.; पुरुजित purujit (m. nom. sg.), brother of Kuntibhoja, a prince of the Kunti people. The name means "he who conquers widely." A Pandava ally.; कुत्न्तिभोज kuntibhojas (m. nom. sg.), Kuntibhoja, a Panadava ally.;  ca, and.; saipyas (m. nom. sg.), शैब्य Saibya, King of the Saibya, a Pandava ally.; च ca, and.; नर nara (m.), man.; पुङ्गवः pungavah (m. nom. sg.), bull.; (narapufigavas m. nom. sg., man-bull, bull among men.).

युधामन्यु yudhamanyus (m. nom. sg.), Yudhamanyu, a warrior ally of the Piil)<;iavas. The name means "fighting with spirit."; च ca, and.; विक्रान्त vikrantas (m. nom. sg. p. pass. participle vi.Jkram), striding forth, bold, courageou~.; उत्तम uttamaujas (m. nom. sg.), Uttamaujas, a warrior ally of the Pandavas. The name means "of highest power" or "of supreme valor."; च ca, and.; वीर्यवान् viryavan (m. nom. sg.), valorous, full of heroism.; सौभद्र saubhadras (m. nom. sg.), the son of Sub-hadra, i.e. Abhimanyu, the son of  ubhadra (Krishna's sister) by Arjuna, who abducted; her with Krishna's consent.; द्रौपदेय draupadeyas (m. nom. pl.), the Sons of Dra-upadi, who was the collective wife of the five Pandava princes and the daughter of Drupada. There were five sons of DraupadI: Prativindhya ~by Yudhisthra), Sutaspma (by BhIma), Srutakirti (by Arjuna), Satanika (by Nakula) and Srutakarman (by Sahadeva).; च ca, and.; सर्व sarva (samdhi for sarve, nom. pl.), all.; एव eva, indeed (often used as a rhythmic filler).; महारथाः maharathas (m. nom. pl.), great warriors, (as BY cpd.), those whose chariots are great.



There are also powerful warriors such as Dhrstaketu, Cekitana, Kasiraja, Purujit, Kuntibhoja and Saibya along with Yudhamanyu, mighty Uttamauja, the son of Subhadra (Abhimanyu) and the sons of Draupadi. All these warriors are great chariot fighters (Maharathis). ||1-5,6||
