Bhagavadgíta,-6. ātmasaṃyamayogaḥ आत्मसंयमयोगः , (S.-1, Ch.-6, V.-41)

प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वतीः समाः ।शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते ॥ ६-४१॥

prāpya puṇyakṛtāṃ lokānuṣitvā śāśvatīḥ samāḥ । śucīnāṃ śrīmatāṃ gehe yogabhraṣṭo'bhijāyate ॥ 6-41॥



प्राप्य = prāpya (gerund pra *ap) , attaining, reach-ing.; 

पुण्यकृतां = puṇyakṛtāṃ (m. gen. pl.), of the meritorious acting, of the auspicious making, of the virtuous acting, of the good doing.; 

लोका = lokān (m. ace. pl.), worlds.; 

उषित्वा = uṣitvā (gerund *vas), dwelling, having dwelt.; 

शाश्वतीः = śāśvatīḥ (f. acc. pl.), constant, perpetual, end-less.; 

समाः = samāḥ (f. acc. pl.), years.; 

शुचीनां = śucīnāṃ (m. gen. pl.), of the radiant, of the happy.; 

श्रीमतां = śrīmatāṃ (m. gen. pl.), of the illustrious, of the famous.; 

गेहे = gehe (n. loco sg.) in the dwelling, in the house.; 

योगभ्रष्टो = yogabhraṣṭo (m. nom. sg. p. pass. participle yoga .*bhrans), BY cpd., fallen from Yoga, gone from Yoga, lost to Yoga.; 

ऽभिजायते = abhijāyate (3rd sg. pro indic. passive abhi *jan), he is born, he is reborn, he is born again.



But a person who falls from yoga, thus being an unsuccessful yogi, attains the celestial worlds meant for virtuous people and after enjoying for many years there, he is born again in this world in the houses of either righteous people or aristocratic people. ||6-41||
