तस्मादसक्तः सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर ।असक्तो ह्याचरन्कर्म परमाप्नोति पूरुषः ॥ ३-१९॥

tasmādasaktaḥ satataṃ kāryaṃ karma samācara ।asakto hyācarankarma paramāpnoti pūruṣaḥ ॥ 3-19॥

तस्मात tasmat (m. abl. sg.), from this, therefore.; 

असक्तः asaktas (m. nom. sg. p. pass. participle a .*sanj), unattached, not clinging.; 

सततं satatam (adv.), constantly, perpetually, al-ways.; 

कार्यं karyam (n. acc. sg. gerundive *kr), to be done, to be accomplished, duty, task.; 

कर्म karma (n. acc. sg.), action, deeds.; 

समाचर samacara (2nd sg. imperative act. sam a *car), perform! practice! conduct! act!; 

असक्तो asaktas (m. nom. sg. p. pass. participle a .*sanj), unattached, not clinging.; 

हि hi, indeed, truly.; 

चरन् acaran (m. nom. sg. pro participle act. a *car), performing, acting, practicing.; 

कर्म karma (n. acc. sg.), actions, deeds.; 

परम param (m. acc. sg.), the highest, the supreme.; 

अप्नोति apnoti (3rd sg. pr. indic. act. .Jap) , he at-tains, he obtains, he reaches.; 

पूरुषः purus (m. nom. sg.), man, spirit.
