यान्ति देवव्रता देवान्पितॄन्यान्ति पितृव्रताः ।भूतानि यान्ति भूतेज्या यान्ति मद्याजिनोऽपि माम् ॥ ९-२५॥

yānti devavratā devānpitṝnyānti pitṛvratāḥ ।bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā yānti madyājino'pi mām ॥ 9-25॥

यान्ति yanti =  they go, they attain.;

देवव्रता devavratā  =  the god-devoted, those devoted to the gods.;

देवान devān =   to the gods, the gods.;

न्पितॄन्य pitṝn =   to the ancestors, the ancestors.;

यान्ति yānti  =   they go, they attain.;

पितृव्रताः pitṛvratāḥ =   the ancestor-devoted, those who are devoted to the ancestors.;

भूतानि bhūtāni =   beings, spirits, to the spirits.;

यान्ति yānti  =   to go, to attain.; 

भूतेज्या bhūtejyā =   the spirit-sacrificing, those devoted to the spirits.;

यान्ति yānti  =   to go, to attain.;

मद्याजिनो madyājino =   the me-sacrificing, those who are devoted to me.;

ऽपि api =   even, also, surely.;

माम् mām  = me, to me.;
