अवजानन्ति मां मूढा मानुषीं तनुमाश्रितम् ।परं भावमजानन्तो मम भूतमहेश्वरम् ॥ ९-११॥

avajānanti māṃ mūḍhā mānuṣīṃ tanumāśritam ।paraṃ bhāvamajānanto mama bhūtamaheśvaram ॥ 9-11॥

अवजानन्ति avajānanti  =  they despise, they disesteem, they treat with contempt.;

मां māṃ  =   me.;

मूढा mūḍhā  =   the deluded, the confused ones, fools.;

मानुषीं mānuṣīṃ =   human.;

तनुम tanum  =   body, form.;

आश्रितम् āśritam  =   having recourse to, dwelling in, em-ploying, using, assuming.;

परं paraṃ  =   higher.;

भावम bhāvam  =   being, existence.;

अजानन्तो ajānanto  =   not knowing, ignorant of.;

मम mama (gen. sg.), of me, my.;

भूत bhūta  =   being, creature.;

महेश्वरम् maheśvaram  = mighty lord, great lord. (maheSvaram, Great Lord of Beings.)
