| Bhagavadgíta,-6. ātmasaṃyamayogaḥ आत्मसंयमयोगः , (S.-1, Ch.-6, V.-29) |
सर्वभूतस्थमात्मानं सर्वभूतानि चात्मनि ।ईक्षते योगयुक्तात्मा सर्वत्र समदर्शनः ॥ ६-२९॥ |
sarvabhūtasthamātmānaṃ sarvabhūtāni cātmani । īkṣate yogayuktātmā sarvatra samadarśanaḥ ॥ 6-29॥ |
सर्वभूतस्थम = sarvabhūtastham (n. acc. sg.), existing in all beings, present in all beings.; आत्मानं = ātmānaṃ (m. acc. sg.), self.; सर्वभूतानि = sarvabhūtāni (n. acc. pl.), all beings, all creatures.; च = ca, and.; आत्मनि = atmani (m. loco sg.), in the self.; ईक्षते = īkṣate (3rd sg. pr. indic. mid. *īkṣ), he sees, he observes.; योगयुक्त = yogayukt (m.), disciplined in Yoga, stead-fast in Yoga, yoked to Yoga.; आत्मा = ātmā (m. nom. sg.), self. (yogayuktātmā, m. nom. sg. BV cpd., whose self is disciplined by Yoga.); सर्वत्र = sarvatra, at all times, everywhere, in all cases.; समदर्शनः = samadarśanaḥ (m. nom. sg.), seeing the same, * seeing equally. |
A yogi, who is attached perfectly to yoga, sees everyone with an equal vision. He sees the Lord present in everyone and all beings present in the Lord. ||6-29||
