प्रसादे सर्वदुःखानां हानिरस्योपजायते ।प्रसन्नचेतसो ह्याशु बुद्धिः पर्यवतिष्ठते ॥२- ६५॥ |
prasāde sarvaduḥkhānāṃ hānirasyopajāyate ।prasannacetaso hyāśu buddhiḥ paryavatiṣṭhate ॥2- 65॥ |
प्रसादे prasade (m.loc. sg.), = in tranquility, in peace.; सर्व sarva, = all.; दुःखानां duhkhanam (n. gen. pl.), = of sorrows, of misfortunes.; हानि hanis (f. nom. sg. from *ha, leave), = cessation, withdrawal.; अस्यो asya (m. gen. sg.), = of him, of it, for him.; उपजायते upajayate (3rd sg. pr. indic. passive upa *jan), it is born, it is produced.; प्रसन्न prasanna (p. pass. participle pra *sad), = clear, bright, tranquil, placid.; चेतस cetasas (m. gen. sg.), = of mind, minded, of thought. (prasannacetasas, m. gen. sg. BV cpd., of = him whose mind is tranquil.); िह् hi, = indeed, truly.; आशु asu (adv.), = quickly, at once, immediately.; बुद्धिः buddhis (f. nom. sg.), = intelligence, enlightenment, discrimination.; पर्यवतिष्ठते paryavatisthate (3rd sg. pr. indic. mid. pariava *stha), = it becomes steady, it steadies, it stands. |
Such a blissful person is completely freed from all sorrows and his mind is
thus quickly fixed in God. ||2-65||
