आत्मान्तरगुणानामात्मान्तरे ऽकारणत्वात् ॥ ६.१.५ ॥

ātmāntaraguṇānāmātmāntare 'kāraṇatvāt || 6.1.5 ||

Attributes of one soul do not produce effects in another soul


atmā-antara-guṇānāṃ—of the attributes of one soul; ātmā-antare—in another soul; a-kāraṇatvāt—because there is no causality.

Verse: [“Result (of action) indicated by the Śāstra, (accrues) to the performer”], because there is no causality of the attributes of one soul in (the attributes of) another soul.
