विरामप्रत्ययाभ्यासपूर्वः संस्कारशेषोऽन्यः ॥१८॥ |
virāma-pratyaya-abhyāsa-pūrvaḥ saṁskāra-śeṣo-'nyaḥ ॥18॥ |
| virama = cessation, stopping, receding pratyaya = cause, cognitive principle, content of mind, cognition abhyasa = practice purvah = preceding, coming before samskara = deep impressions, imprints in the unconscious, deepest habits, subliminal activators, traces shesha = residual, subliminal anyah = the other (the other samadhi) |
There is another Samadhi which is attained by the constant practice of cessation of all mental activity, in which the Chitta retains only the unmanifested impressions. |
