ततो यातो वह्न्यपानौ प्राणं उष्णस्वरूपकम् ।
तेनात्यन्तप्रदीप्तस्तु ज्वलनो देहजस्तथा ॥ ३.६७ ॥ |
tato yāto vahnyapānau prāṇaṃ uṣṇasvarūpakam ।
tenātyantapradīptastu jvalano dehajastathā ॥ 3.67 ॥ |
Tataḥ: then, thereafter (Tatas)
Yātaḥ: move ("go", yā)
Vahni: (the) fire (Vahni)
Apānau: (and the) downward flowing energy ("wind", Apana)
Prāṇam: (to) the upward flowing energy ("wind", prana)
Uṣṇa: hot (is, ushna)
Sva-rūpakam: (whose) essence, nature ("own form", Svarupa)
Tena: thereby (Tad)
Atyanta: very, exceedingly, excessively (atyanta)
Pradīptaḥ: is fanned, radiated (Pradipta)
Tu: but (Tu)
Jvalanaḥ: Fire (Jvalana)
Deha-jaḥ: (the im) body (deha) created (yes)
Tathā: and, thus (Tatha) || 67 ||

These, the fire and the Apâna Vayu, go to the naturally-hot Prâna, which, becoming further inflamed, causes a burning sensation in the body.
