बस्तिं पश्चिमोत्तानेन चालयित्वा शनैरधः। अश्विनीमुद्रया पायुमाकुञ्चयेत् प्रसारयेत् ॥४८ |
bastiṃ paścimottānena cālayitvā śanairadhaḥ। aśvinīmudrayā pāyumākuñcayet prasārayet ॥48 |
STHALA-BASTI. |
Assuming the posture called Pashimottana, let him move the intestines slowly downwards, then contract and dilate the sphineter-muscle of the anus with Aswini-Mudra. |
