अथ जिह्वामूलधौतिप्रयोगः। तर्जनीमध्यमानामा अङ्गुलित्रययोगतः। वेशयेद्गलमध्ये तु मार्जयेल्लम्बिकामूलम्। शनैः शनैः मार्जयित्वा कफदोषं निवारयेत् ॥३०॥ |
atha jihvāmūladhautiprayogaḥ। tarjanīmadhyamānāmā aṅgulitrayayogataḥ। veśayedgalamadhye tu mārjayellambikāmūlam। śanaiḥ śanaiḥ mārjayitvā kaphadoṣaṃ nivārayet ॥30॥ |
JIVHA SODHANA, OR TONGUE-DHAUTI. |
Join together the three fingers known as the index, the middle and the ring finger, put them into the throat, and rub well and clean the root of the tongue, and by washing it again throw out the phlegm.
