| चतुर्थोध्यायः,-Caturtóddhyāya, (Ch.-4, V.-4) |
सुगन्धे वापि दुर्गन्धे घ्राणेषु जायते मनः। तस्मात्प्रत्याहरेदेतदात्मन्येव वशं नयेत् ॥४॥ |
sugandhe vāpi durgandhe ghrāṇeṣu jāyate manaḥ। tasmātpratyāharedetadātmanyeva vaśaṃ nayet ॥4॥ |
|
From sweet smels or bad smells, by whatever odour the mind may be distracted or attracted, let one withdraw the mind from that, and bring the thinking principle under the control of his Self. |
