| तृतीयोध्यायः,-Tratiyóddhyāya, (Ch.-3, V.-72) |
अथाम्भसीधारणामुद्रा कथनम्। शंखेन्दु प्रतिमं च कुन्दधवलं तत्त्वं किलालं शुभं। तत्पीयूषवकारबीजसहितं युक्तं सदा विष्णुना। प्राणं तत्र विलीय पञ्चघटिकाश्चित्तान्वितं धारयेदेषा दुःसहतापपापाहरणी स्यादाम्भसी धारणा ॥७२॥ |
athāmbhasīdhāraṇāmudrā kathanam। śaṃkhendu pratimaṃ ca kundadhavalaṃ tattvaṃ kilālaṃ śubhaṃ। tatpīyūṣavakārabījasahitaṃ yuktaṃ sadā viṣṇunā। prāṇaṃ tatra vilīya pañcaghaṭikāścittānvitaṃ dhārayedeṣā duḥsahatāpapāpāharaṇī syādāmbhasī dhāraṇā ॥72॥ |

The Water-Tattva is white like the Kunda-flower or a conch or the moon, its form is circular like the moon, the letter ? (va) is the seed of this ambrosial element, and Vishnu is its presiding deity. By Yoga, produce the water-tattva in the heart, and fix there the Prana with the Chitta‚ (cosciousness), for five ghatikas, practisinf Kumbhaka. This is Watery Dharna; it is the destroyer of all sorrows. Water cannot injure him who practises this. |
