| तृतीयोध्यायः,-Tratiyóddhyāya, (Ch.-3, V.-50) |
यावत् सा निद्रिता देहे तावज्जीवः पशुर्यथा। ज्ञानं न जायते तावत् कोटियोगं समभ्यसेत् ॥५०॥ |
yāvat sā nidritā dehe tāvajjīvaḥ paśuryathā। jñānaṃ na jāyate tāvat koṭiyogaṃ samabhyaset ॥50॥ |
|
So long as she is asleep in the body, the Jiva is a mere animal, and true knowledge does not arise, though he may practise ten millions of Yoga.
