| तृतीयोध्यायः,-Tratiyóddhyāya, (Ch.-3, V.-43) |
यानि पापानि घोराणि उपपापानि यानि च। तानिसर्वाणि नश्यन्ति योगनिमुद्रानिबन्धात् ॥ तस्मादभ्यासनं कुर्याद्यदि मुक्तिं समिच्छति ॥४३॥ |
yāni pāpāni ghorāṇi upapāpāni yāni ca। tānisarvāṇi naśyanti yoganimudrānibandhāt ॥ tasmādabhyāsanaṃ kuryādyadi muktiṃ samicchati ॥43॥ |
Its benefits |

By the practice of this Mudra, one is never polluted by the sins of killing a Brahmana, killing a foetus, drinking liquor, or polluting the bed of the Preceptor. All the mortal sins and the venal sins are completely destroyed by the practice of this Mudra. Let him therofore practise it, if he wishes for emancipation.
