अव्यक्तोऽयमचिन्त्योऽयमविकार्योऽयमुच्यते ।तस्मादेवं विदित्वैनं नानुशोचितुमर्हसि ॥२- २५॥ |
avyakto'yamacintyo'yamavikāryo'yamucyate ।tasmādevaṃ viditvainaṃ nānuśocitumarhasi ॥2- 25॥ |
अव्यक्त avyakta (m. nom. sg. p. pass. participle a vi~*anj). = unmanifest, undisplayed.; ऽयम ayam (m. nom. sg.), = this.; अचिन्त्य acintyas (m. nom. sg. gerund a .*cint), = unthinkable, unimaginable.; ऽयम ayam (m. nom. sg.), = this.; अविकार्या avikiiryas (m. nom. sg. gerund a vi .*kr:), unchanging, invariable.; ऽयम ayam (m. nom. sg.), = this.; उच्यते ucyate (3rd sg. pr. indic. pass . .*vac), = it is said, it is spoken.; तस्माद tasmiit (m./n. abl. sg.), = from this, therefore.; एवं evam, = thus.; विदित्वा viditvii (gerund .*vid), = knowing, having known.; एनाम enam (m. acc. sg.), = this.; न na, = not.;अनुशोचितुम anusocitum (infinitive anu .*suc), to mourn, to lament.; अर्हसि arhasi (2nd sg. pro indic. act . .*arh), = thou shouldst, thou art obliged, thou art able, thou art worthy. |
This soul is invisible (it is different from the senses), unimaginable, and
unchangeable. Therefore, knowing the soul as such, it is not proper for you
to grieve. ||2-25||
