योगयुक्तो विशुद्धात्मा विजितात्मा जितेन्द्रियः । सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा कुर्वन्नपि न लिप्यते ॥ ५-७॥

yogayukto viśuddhātmā vijitātmā jitendriyaḥ । sarvabhūtātmabhūtātmā kurvannapi na lipyate ॥ 5-7॥

योगयुक्तो  = yogayukta (m. nom. sg. TP cpd.), he who is disciplined in Yoga, he who is yoked to Yoga.; 

विशुद्धा = viśuddha (p. pass. participle vi *sudh), puri-fied, cleansed.; 

आत्मा = atma (m. nom. sg.), self. (विशुद्धात्मा visuddhatma, m. nom. sg. BY cpd., whose self is purified, whose self is cleansed.); 

विजित = vijita (p. pass. participle vi *ji), conquered, subdued, controlled.; 

आत्मा = atma (m. nom. sg.), self. (विजितात्मा vijitatmii, m. nom. sg. BY cpd., whose self is subdued, whose self is conquered.); 

जित = jita (p. pass. participle .Jji), conquered, sub- dued, controlled.; 

इन्द्रियः = indriyas (n. with m. nom. sg. ending), sense. (जितेन्द्रियः jitendriyas, m. nom. sg. BY cpd., whose senses are conquered.); 

सर्व = sarva, all.; 

भूत = bhUta (m.), being.; 

आत्मा = atma (m.), self.; 

भूत = bhuta (m.), being, becoming.; 

आत्मा = atma (m. nom. sg.), self. (सर्वभूतात्मभूतात्मा sarvabhUtatmabhutatmii, m. nom. sg. BY cpd., whose self has become the self of all beings.); 

कुर्वन = kurvan (pr. participle act. .*kr), acting, doing.; 

अपि = api, even, also.; 

न = na, not.; 

लिप्यते = lipyate (3rd sg. pr. indie. passive .*lip), he is smeared, he is befouled, he is defiled.
