तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया । उपदेक्ष्यन्ति ते ज्ञानं ज्ञानिनस्तत्त्वदर्शिनः ॥ ४-३४॥

tadviddhi praṇipātena paripraśnena sevayā । upadekṣyanti te jñānaṃ jñāninastattvadarśinaḥ ॥ 4-34॥

तद = tad, (n. acc. sg.) this, that.; 

विद्धि = viddhi (2nd sg. imperative act. *vid), know! learn!; 

प्रणिपातेन = praṇipātena (m. inst. sg. from pra ni *pat), by bowing respectfully to, by humble sub-mission, by prostrating oneself.; 

परिप्रश्नेन = pariprasnena (m. inst. sg. from pari *prach), by interrogation, by enquiry.; 

सेवया = sevayā (f. inst. sg.), by service, by waiting on, by attendance.; 

उपदेक्ष्यन्ति = upadeksyanti (3rd pI. fut. act. upa *dis), they will point out, they will instruct, they will teach.; 

ते = te (dat. sg.), thee, to thee.; 

ज्ञानं = jñānaṃ (n. acc. sg.), knowledge, wisdom.; 

ज्ञानि = jñāni (m. nom. pl.), the knowing, the wise ones.; 

तत्त्व = ttva (n.), "thatness," truth.; 

दर्शिनः = darśinaḥ (m. nom. pI. from .Jd~s), perceiv-ers, seers, understanders.(तत्त्वदर्शिनः tattva-darsina, m. nom. pI. TP cpd., seers of truth.)
