न मां कर्माणि लिम्पन्ति न मे कर्मफले स्पृहा ।इति मां योऽभिजानाति कर्मभिर्न स बध्यते ॥ ४-१४॥

na māṃ karmāṇi limpanti na me karmaphale spṛhā । iti māṃ yo'bhijānāti karmabhirna sa badhyate ॥ 4-14॥

न = na, not.; 

मां = mam (acc. sg.), me.; 

कर्माणि = karmani (n. nom. pl.), actions.; 

लिम्पन्ति = limpanti (3rd pI. pr. indic. act. *lip) , theysmear, they defile, they befoul.; 

न = na, not.; 

मे = me (gen. sg.), of me, my.; 

कर्मफले = karmaphale (n. loco sg.), in action fruit, in the fruit of action.; 

स्पृहा = sprha (f. nom. sg.), desire, covetousness.; 

इति = iti, thus, so.; 

मां = mam (acc. sg.), me.; 

यो = yas (m. nom. sg.), who.; 

ऽभिजानाति = abhijanati (3rd sg. pr. indic. act. abhi *jna), he comprehends, he understands.; 

कर्मभि = karmabhis (n. inst. pl.), by actions, by deeds.; 

न = na, not.; 

स = sas (m. nom. sg.), he.; 

बध्यते = badhyate (3rd sg. pr. indic. passive *bandh), he is bound, he is fettered.;
