आत्म-वत् सततं पश्येद् अपि कीट-पिपीलिकम् ॥ २३ ॥ |
ātma-vat satataṃ paśyed api kīṭa-pipīlikam ॥ 23 ॥ |
Even the insects and ants should be seen with respect. A compassionate attitude towards all the living beings is the hallmark of a civilized man. |
